NaiveSystems Analyze is available for different types of users. Basic version is free and paid version is available for an annual subscription fee. NaiveSystems Analyze can be hosted on different Operating Systems such as Windows, macOS and Linux.

We will maintain a list of Coverage Claims Representation(CCR) which shows the the most recent CWE content used to update our product.

Indicate how often you plan on updating the mappings to reflect the current CWE content and describe your approach to keeping reasonably current with the CWE content when mapping them to your repository (recommended):

NaiveSystems Analyze is usually updated every month. And the CCR list will also be updated to keep current with the CWE content.

When NaiveSystems Analyze is updated, the customers will be informed with the newly available CWE content.

First, the customers click one violated CWE rule in the panel.

Then the editor will be jumped to the code which violates the CWE rule and it will be underlined.

Finally, the customers can click the link and jump to the corresponding page of the CWE rule.

FINDING CWE IDENTIFIERS USING ELEMENTS IN REPORTS <CR_A.2.2>

Now NaiveSystems Analyze does not provide with a public CCR XML document. However, if the users want to get a CCR XML document, they can email to lzh@naivesystems.com to request one.

GETTING A LIST OF CWE IDENTIFIERS ASSOCIATED WITH TASKS <CR_A.2.6>

SELECTING TASKS WITH A LIST OF CWE IDENTIFIERS <CR_A.2.7>

Describe the steps and format that a user would use to select a set of tasks by providing a file with a list of CWE identifiers (recommended):

By putting a file named of check_rules under the .naivesystems folder in the project root, the users can select which CWE identifiers to be checked (not recommended).

Each line in check_rules represents one CWE identifier with the format cwe/cwe_ID, like cwe/cwe_401.

SELECTING TASKS USING INDIVIDUAL CWE IDENTIFIERS <CR_A.2.8>

Describe the steps that a user would follow to browse, select, and deselect a set of tasks for the tool by using individual CWE identifiers (recommended):

NON-SUPPORT NOTIFICATION FOR A REQUESTED CWE IDENTIFIER <CR_A.2.9>

Provide a description of how the tool notifies the user that a task associated with a selected CWE identifier cannot be performed (recommended):

If the customers use the website mentioned in CR_A.2.3, this situation will not happen.

If the customers use the file mentioned in CR_A.2.7, the non-support cwe identifier will be skipped and the users will not be informed directly. But it will be recorded in logs.

The formats of the electronic document are HTML, PDF, Word, Excel and XML. The specific CWE-related text can be searched with the "Find" function (usually Ctrl-F).
